Have questions about FAFSA or CADAA? Attend one of our CSAC Statewide Cash for College Webinars! These webinars will provide students and their families information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

Don't know which application to complete? FAFSA filers are a U.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen. For more on FAFSA eligibility click here. CADAA filers are undocumented and nonresident students. For more on CADAA eligibility click here.
Please have the following documents available during the webinar:
  • Your parents and your FSA ID (For FAFSA filers ONLY) or Dream Act Account (For CADAA filers)
  • Driver's License, if you have one
  • Social Security Card, if you have one
  • Alien Registration Card, if you have one
  • ITIN, if you have one
  • List of colleges you are interested in to list on the applications
  • Most current bank statements
  • Any records of untaxed income
  • 2019 tax information (1040’s and W2’s)
    • This includes your parents' tax information if you are a dependent student. 
    • Am I an independent or dependent student?
What is an FSA ID? An FSA ID is a username and password that gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and can serve as your legal signature.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Senior attending RJUHSD
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher at time of applying
  • Student must be pursuing a construction related career
  • A letter of Recommendation

CA Dream Act Application Workshop
 
It's that time of the year again, UndocuScholars! 2021-2022 CA Dream Act applications opened October 1st, 2020 and you are encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible and before the March 2nd, 2021 deadline in order to receive your full aid amount.
 
Do you have questions regarding if you're eligible to apply to the CA Dream Act?
Do you have questions regarding how to apply or about how to complete your current application?
Did you know the application deadline for all Dreamer Cal Grants and most of the other aid listed above is March 2, but you're encouraged to apply as soon as possible?

Join us on Thursday, October 29th, from 5-6:00 P.M for an UndocuTalk: 2021-2022 CA Dream Act Application Workshop. The Undocumented Student Center will host a presentation in collaboration with Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, Enrollment, EOPS, and Outreach representatives who will provide step by step information on how to apply to the CA Dream Act, including how to qualify for aid via AB540. There will be a questions and answer session as well as 1-1 individual assistance through break out rooms on Zoom.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Sierra College will be at Antelope High School to assist you on your FAFSA/Dream Act Application. 
Please bring all the require documents when you attend the workshop.
Workshop days: 
January 23, 2020 @ 10 Am - 2PM, RM: Library
February 5, 2020 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, RM: Library

Please sign up:  Financial Aid Registration
1.  Please create a FSA ID prior to the workshop 
  • How to create a FSA ID:  The FSA ID gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and can serve as your legal signature.  Only create a FSA ID using your own personal information and for your own exclusive use.  You are not authorized to create a FSA ID on behalf of someone else, including a family member.  Save your FSA ID for next year’s application submission!!!  https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out/fsaid

​Join us on Thursday, October 25th, from 6-8 PM for FAFSA Night and we'll help you fill out your FAFSA - the Free Application for Federal Student Aid! The FAFSA qualifies you for federal and state aid. Schools also use the information to determine school-specific aid eligibility. If you come prepared, you could finish your FAFSA at this event! Bring your parent's financial information, social security numbers for yourself and your parents, citizenship information for yourself and your parents, and other relevant financial info. Any student planning to attend college during the 2019-2020 year should fill out the FAFSA!

If you're applying to a CSU, don’t miss CSU Application Night on Thursday, October 4th! Your counselors will be there to help you with the application and answer any questions you might have about the application process. Come prepared with your device (if you have one), your info, your parent’s info, your family household income and size, your transcript, and a form of payment if you want to submit that night! The event runs from 6-8 PM and will be held in the Cafeteria. See you there!
