College in High School Changes to College in High School Program Beginning in Spring 2020, high school students can take free college classes upon completion of the 8th grade or equivalent. American River College is the closest campus in the Los Rios Community College District! It is known for some of its unique programs that aren't offered elsewhere. Every year, a number of Antelope Students choose to attend ARC.
