Though we may be miles apart, Grand Canyon University still has you covered. Read on to learn more about our virtual events taking place through the end of the year!
  • GCU LIVE Lessons: A 45-minute interactive educational lesson provided at no cost. Get a head start on developing your skills and learn to leverage your strengths from the comfort and safety of your own home! GCU LIVE Lessons At Home are offered on a rotating basis focused on a variety of topics. Participate in as many as you would like!
  • GCU LIVE Tours: A 60-minute interactive experience hosted by a GCU tour guide, including a virtual tour of campus and a Q&A with students and an admissions counselor. Choose from a program-specific experience or a general tour using the bi-weekly rotating schedule.
  • GCU LIVE Transfer Tuesdays: A special tour designed just for transfers! Available the second Tuesday of each month at 5 pm and the fourth Tuesday at 12 pm AZ Time.
  • Meet GCU: A complimentary opportunity for administrators to learn with other educational influencers and develop ways to enhance education options for your students and employees through participant benefits. These events provide you the opportunity to learn about our growing campus, connect with other administrators, counselors and GCU students and meeting GCU leadership, college deans and campus leaders.
  • Virtual Financial Aid Nights: These 60-minute information sessions are hosted by a financial aid expert for students and their families. Learn about scholarships, FAFSA, loans, grants and more from the comfort of your own home.
Attention Future Transfers
Planning to earn an associate degree first? GCU offers a pathway for student to plan to transfer in the future. Signing a Letter of Intent will allow you to lock in your rates from this year’s scholarship bracket and your current program version. To start the process, fill out our FREE application.
Campus Visitation Programs
GCU offers all-expense paid** day, overnight and travel reimbursement trips to campus. We will provide you with the opportunity to take a campus tour led by a GCU student and meet with a college representative to learn about your program of interest. During your campus visit, you will also have the chance to dine at popular campus eateries, socialize with other future Lopes and meet current students in a physically distanced and masked-required environment.     • January 15, 2021 is Early Application II Priority Date: Apply by this date to enjoy the benefits of early applications including advance notice of orientation, class registration, scholarships and housing.     • January 22, 2021: Music Scholarship Day | February 19, 2021:  Music Scholarship Day
    • January 23, 2021: Blue & Gold Honors Interview Day | February 27, 2021: Blue & Gold Honors Interview Day
    • March 1, 2021: All performance and affinity scholarships will be awarded prior to this day. If interested, please apply for admission, apply for the individual scholarship, and interview/audition as early as possible. We offer performance scholarships for Art, Bonner Scholars, Equestrian Riding, Healthcare Pre-Professional, Honors Program, Music, STEM Cohort, and Theatre; and Affinity Scholarships for Cheer & Dance, Civic Leader Scholars, Color/Winter Guard, Marching Band, Outdoor Adventure Team and Rugby.

  • Streamlined Admission Processes: The events of 2020 presented many obstacles for families and schools. We now have some changes in our admissions processes to ease the transition into college. Admission has never been easier!
    • Test Score Optional: We have waived the application requirement for test scores (SAT or ACT) for Fall 2021 applicants.
    • Essay Requirement Waived: We are no longer requiring an essay as part of the application process.
    • No Application Fee: The free application is open now for fall 2021 enrollment.
  • Encourage Students to File FAFSA: We highly encourage students and families to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) with E&H code 003709. If you are not quite sure where to start, have specific questions about financial aid, or just want a general overview—please watch our E&H FAFSA 101 Workshop replay on YouTube or reach out to our Admissions Office for an individual appointment where we will be happy to guide you through the process.
  • NEW Merit Scholarships: $23,000 in scholarships are available for those that apply with a 3.5 GPA and above—one of the highest in the ODAC and the largest academic merit scholarship to be offered in E&H History! That’s $92,000 over four years.
  • Financial Aid Award Letters: E&H Office of Financial Aid is sending accepted students award letters by email detailing their financial aid packages. Admitted students should follow their next steps at www.ehc.edu/future to see more information about accepting their financial aid award.

  • Emory & Henry to award $5K to Local Business in Washington County Business Challenge: As part of the 2021 Washington County Business Challenge, Emory & Henry College, for the third time, is offering the Business Innovation Award. The award gives a local start-up or expanding business a $5,000 award for focusing on agriculture, agri-tourism or outdoor recreation as well as having a Benefit Corporation status. Read more.

Honors College Application: Final Deadline - February 15
The Honors College final application deadline is approaching. Be sure your seniors apply to Arizona and complete the Honors College application through their Future Wildcat page by February 15. Students who completed their Honors applications between November 4 and the final deadline will be notified of their Honors admission status on March 10. Your students can learn more on the Honors College website.
Virtual Outreach Visit Request Form
Are you interested in having your Admissions Counselor virtually "visit" your students, college prep period, or classroom? Throughout the Spring we look forward to connecting with your admitted seniors, and preparing your Juniors for the college search! Using our Virtual Admissions Visit Request Form to see all the sessions that we are offering! If you have questions about the form, feel free to reach out to your Admissions Counselor or admissions@arizona.edu.

​Scholarship Universe
Now is the time that seniors should be applying for scholarships to help pay for college. The University of Arizona built a great scholarship database to help students identify and apply for scholarships. Scholarship Universe is only available to admitted Arizona students and it is designed to make finding scholarships easy by asking a student to fill out a survey connected to hundreds of scholarships in the database. 
To learn more about Scholarship Universe, students and families can attend workshops held every third Wednesday of the month through April 2021. Each workshop will take place from 2:00 - 3:00 PM, Arizona time, and students can register here.

Virtual Wildcat Days
Your students and their families are invited to Wildcat Days - virtually! This all-inclusive event allows students to discover how Arizona is unlike any other. Encourage your students to join us to learn more about our world-class academics and research, the great college town of Tucson, and student life in an evening built just for students from their area!
Events are being held the first two weeks of February, and will include current students and families, Housing, Financial Aid representatives, and more! Learn more about the Wildcat Days events on our website.
Virtual NACAC College Fairs
The University of Arizona is excited to participate in the Virtual NACAC Signature College Fairs again this spring! Don’t miss out on this virtual experience to explore the University of Arizona and access over 600 universities from all over the country. You can register for the Virtual NACAC Signature College Fairs, including the upcoming event on Sunday, January 31, via their website.
